Mr. Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan is the driving force behind Transworld Group. A graduate in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, he has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience including hands-on involvement with ship owning, chartering and ship management. His extensive, variegated stints, handling all facets of running shipping and allied businesses in the Indian subcontinent is brought to bear on operations of the Group.

He was awarded 'The Marine Personality of the Year' in 2011 at the Maritime And Logistics Awards, and named 'Indian CEO of the Year' in 2012. Prestigious global business publication Forbes recognised Mr. Ramakrishnan as one of the 'Top Indian Leaders in the Middle East' in 2013 and 2014 and as one of the 'Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World for five consecutive years from 2014 to 2018.

Experienced in all aspects of business formation, operation and management, Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan, Managing Director, joined the Group in the year 2010. He has since been instrumental in leading the strategy, planning, implementation and business development activities of the Transworld Group. He directly oversees the operations of the Group companies. He has been a Director on the Board since May 30, 2012. In addition to his role within the Transworld Group, he also serves as a Principal at Wami Capital, the Single-Family Office of Transworld Group, a position he assumed in May 2021.

A graduate from Purdue University, USA with a B.Sc. in Logistics and a double minor in communication and finance in 2009. He has been awarded a distinction certificate after completion of the Galbraith's Shipping Course in London. To further hone his leadership skills, he successfully graduated from the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School in 2017. He further successfully completed the Programme for Driving Profitable Growth at Harvard Business School in 2019 and the Reimaging Leadership Programme at SAID Business School , University of Oxford in June 2023. Mr. Ramakrishnan is an esteemed member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a prestigious global leadership organization comprising chief executives from around the world. Forbes Middle East recognized him as one of the Top Indian Leaders of The Next Generation early in his career. In 2017, he received the distinguished 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year' award at The India Seatrade Awards. The India Maritime Awards (IMA) 2018 in Mumbai conferred upon him the title of "Face of The Future," recognizing his potential to shape the industry. Capt Milind K Patankar is an Extra Master Mariner and a Fellow of The Nautical Institute and The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Earlier, he has served for many years on various types of cargo vessels as a Navigating Officer, including as a Master. He possesses extensive maritime management experience in various areas of Ship Owning and Ship Operations which includes New Projects, Sale & Purchase, Insurance, Technical and Commercial Management as well as Vessel Operations, both, in the container and dry bulk verticals.

With over 35 years of experience in Human Resources, employer branding, corporate communications, and operations across professional services, financial services, consulting, and media sectors, Sangeeta Singh holds a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Psychology from Mumbai University and a certification in Strategic Human Resource Management from Harvard Business School. She has been actively involved in academic institutions, leadership development centers, and various HR forums as a speaker and member.

Sangeeta has played key roles in promoting women leadership, including being the India head of KPMG Network of Women India chapter and a founding member of the Women in Leadership Forum. Currently associated with Talentnomics, mentoring women leaders in Indian corporates. Corporate Social Responsibility, diversity, and building women leaders are causes close to her heart, and she has spearheaded initiatives in these areas.

Currently serving as an Independent Director on the boards of Accelya Kale Solutions Ltd, Alkem Laboratories Limited, Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd, and others.

In her recent roles, from setting up Sanguine Consultants to being a Partner and Head of Human Resources at KPMG India, Sangeeta has managed various HR functions including talent management, leadership development, performance management, and post-merger integration. She has been part of senior leadership teams, global work groups, and served on internal Executive Boards, contributing beyond HR to address broader leadership issues.

Mr. Anil K. Gupta headed Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), a prominent Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) of the Government of India, from 2009 to 2016. His tenure saw CONCOR rise as a dominant force in the logistics sector, capturing over two-thirds of the market share. His expertise in Marketing & Commercial Activities, Ports and shipping, Railway Operations, and Inter-modal and Landside Transport Logistics and Distribution was instrumental in CONCOR's success.

His educational journey includes a Master's and M. Phil. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics (DSE), along with participation in various management programs. Additionally, he's made significant contributions to professional research works, World Bank projects, and high-profile committees shaping logistics and transportation development in India.

Post-retirement, Mr. Gupta remains actively engaged in diverse projects and serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several companies. His affiliations extend to esteemed professional groups like UN ESCAP, Centre for Transport Research & Management (CTRAM), Institute of Rail Transport (IRT), and Asian Institute of Transport Development (AITD).

Ms. Maya Swaminathan Sinha has completed Masters from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University where she has specialized in Econometrics, Monetary finance, Public Economics form 1978-1980 and further from 1975-1978, she has done BA (Honours) in Economics and Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. From 1981-2003, she was a member of Indian Revenue Services (IRS-Income Tax) and has worked in various capacities such as Assistant Commissioner, deputy Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Additional Commissioner and Commissioner in metro cities of New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai as well as non-metros like Nagpur. She had the opportunity to function in New Delhi as well as Mumbai in prestigious Investigation Directorate of Income Tax Department, involving conducting searches and in depth investigation in large tax evasion. From 2003-2006, she was a Financial Advisor and Commissioner of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC). From 2006-2010, she was Deputy Chairman of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), the largest container Port of India. Presently from 2010 she is an Executive Director of Core Education and Technologies Ltd. (CETL).

Mr. Deepak Shetty, Independent Director, Shreyas Shipping and Logistics Limited, was formerly a senior career civil servant in the Government of India. He was a direct recruit member of the 1980 batch of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise). He had multiple official assignments in his civil service career spanning 36 1/4 years. In his parent department he had eventually attained the rank of Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax. his first central deputation stint, he was Additional Textile Commissioner in the office of the Textile Commissioner, Minsitry of Textiles, Government of India, at Mumbai, from 1996 to 2001, in the rank of Director to the Governement of India. In his second central deputation term, he had served as Joint Director General of Shipping and then on a continuum as Director General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, at Mumbai, from 2011 to 2016, successively in the ranks of Joint and Additional Secretary to the Government of India. He was eventually empanelled and posted as Secretary to the Government of India - the highest rank in the civil service in India. has an extensive & intensive experience and expertise in maritime, indirect tax & civil aviation related adminsitrations, law enforcement, crisis & risk management, legal, personnel, human resource development, transparency, business process engineering, automation, corporate governance matters, inter-alia. had dealt with and successfully resolved numerous international issues, including in global fora such as United Nations (UN), International Maritime Organisation (IMO), International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), Contact Group on Piracy off the Coast of Somalia (CGPCS) etc. is a highly decorated civil servant, having bagged 24 awards and commendations at the national, regional and international levels, throughout his service career.
