Mr. Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan is the driving force behind Transworld. A graduate in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, he has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience including hands-on involvement with ship owning, chartering and ship management. His extensive, variegated stints, handling all facets of running shipping and allied businesses in the Indian subcontinent is brought to bear on operations of the Group.

In 2025, he was honoured with the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award - the highest recognition conferred on overseas Indians by the President of India. In 2024, he was inducted into the Maritime Standard Hall of Fame at the Maritime Standard Awards. Prestigious global business publication Forbes recognised Mr. Ramakrishnan as one of the ‘Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World’ for five consecutive years from 2014 to 2018, and as one of the ‘Top Indian Leaders in the Middle East’ in 2013 and 2014. Earlier, he was named ‘Indian CEO of the Year’ in 2012, and awarded ‘The Marine Personality of the Year’ in 2011 at the Maritime & Logistics Awards.

Experienced in all aspects of business formation, operation and management, Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan, Managing Director, joined the Group in the year 2010. He has since been instrumental in leading the strategy, planning, implementation and business development activities of Transworld. He directly oversees the operations of the Group companies. He has been a Director on the Board since May 30, 2012. In addition to his role within Transworld, he also serves as a Principal at Wami Capital, the Single-Family Office of Transworld, a position he assumed in May 2021.

A graduate from Purdue University, USA with a B.Sc. in Logistics and a double minor in communication and finance in 2009. He has been awarded a distinction certificate after completion of the Galbraith's Shipping Course in London. To further hone his leadership skills, he successfully graduated from the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School in 2017. He further successfully completed the Programme for Driving Profitable Growth at Harvard Business School in 2019 and the Reimaging Leadership Programme at SAID Business School , University of Oxford in June 2023.

Mr. Ramakrishnan is an esteemed member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a prestigious global leadership organization comprising chief executives from around the world. Forbes Middle East recognized him as one of the Top Indian Leaders of The Next Generation early in his career. In 2017, he received the distinguished 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year' award at The India Seatrade Awards. The India Maritime Awards (IMA) 2018 in Mumbai conferred upon him the title of "Face of The Future," recognizing his potential to shape the industry. In 2015, Lloyds List identified him as a 'Global Next Generation Business Leader,' highlighting his exceptional leadership qualities on the international stage. His remarkable journey and contributions to the business world underscore his commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of logistics and beyond.

Ms. Geeta Ramakrishnan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers and joined the group in 1989. She is an experienced Personnel Practitioner with a comprehensive and strategic understanding of Human Capital Management from the School of Industrial and Labour Relations - Cornell University New York. She is responsible for building a successful Human Capital Management function at Transworld and oversees the daily activities and initiatives to help strengthen employees role in the company, the overall provision of Human Capital Management services, policies and programmes for the group.

Ms. Anisha spearheads Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Transworld and is the CEO of Wami Capital, Transworld’s family office. With a rich background in finance and a strong commitment to the principles that define the family's legacy, Anisha brings strategic foresight to managing the wealth and ensuring its continuity. Additionally, Anisha plays a pivotal role in overseeing the CSR initiatives of Transworld, where the passion for making a positive impact on society is evident through innovative and sustainable philanthropic endeavors.

Her leadership serves as a shining example of Transworld family's dedication to both financial excellence and social responsibility. Anisha holds a Master’s in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, London, and a Bachelor’s in International Affairs with minors in Business Administration and Global Social Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University, Boston. She has also completed a program in Big Data Analytics from Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and continues to strive for excellence in all her endeavors, with a vision for a brighter future for both Transworld family and society at large.

A Management professional with experience across various Industries like Shipping, Logistics, Aviation, and ITES. He is responsible for the business operations and functions for the Group. Holds post-graduation degree of Master in Labour Studies and Graduate in Commerce from Mumbai University. Actively associated with various social institutions involved in People upliftment and Charity work.

Capt. Milind K Patankar is an Extra Master Mariner and a Fellow of The Nautical Institute and The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Earlier, he has served for many years on various types of cargo vessels as a Navigating Officer, including as a Master. He possesses extensive maritime management experience in various areas of Ship Owning and Ship Operations which includes New Projects, Sale & Purchase, Insurance, Technical and Commercial Management as well as Vessel Operations, both, in the container and dry bulk verticals.

Capt Allan J Couto, Master Mariner, Member of the institute of chartered shipbroker and auditor, has been with the group since 1988. After commanding various vessels in our fleet, he was the overall in charge of Transworld Shipping in India for over seven years. In 2002 he was inducted in the International division to set up a Transworld office in USA and oversees the trade and logistics services between USA and our other group offices.

Supply Chain Professional with 27 years of experience in Shipping and Logistics industry including 18 years of seafaring experience. Has an in-depth experience of Commercial and Operational management of vessel and container fleets. He has served in various business units within the Group and has exposure to feeder and bulk carrier divisions.

He is a graduate in Nautical Sciences and a Master Mariner with 5 years in command of vessels. Additionally, he holds a post graduate MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad and a MICS certification. Responsible for handling various activities of Transworld Bulk Carriers.

Mr. Prabhakar Posam, Chief Information Officer is a Commerce graduate from Mumbai University and a PGDCA & PMP certified professional with 21 years of experience, with a passion for technology innovations. He is responsible for the IT and ERP functions including digitalization and automation processes & operations, communication platforms integrated Business intelligence tools, mobile based interface applications systems, business process improvements etc. His accolades include IT awards by IT Next, PC Quest, CIO Axis, Exito media as one of the best CIO's in India and one of the most prestigious awards in the Information Technology field ie World's Premier 100 IT Leaders for the year 2017.

Mr. Mahesh Dakshinamoorthy leads our end-to-end logistics operations in the UAE, covering Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Road Freight, Distribution, E-commerce, and related verticals. as Chief Operating Officer at Transworld Logistics FZE, Dubai. As a dynamic and result-oriented senior professional with over 30 years of international and multicultural experience across FMCG & Pharma Distribution, Consumer Durables, Warehousing and Cold Chain operations and HVAC sectors, he has successfully led high-performance teams, driven productivity improvements, strengthened cost efficiency, and delivered large-scale operational transformations. His expertise in building integrated logistics and supply chain ecosystems positions him as one of the leading industry expert in this sector.

Xavier Thomas, Assistant General Manager - Legal and Corporate Affairs, graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) Degree and obtained his Masters Degree from University of Adelaide, Australia. He was admitted to the Bar Council of India as an advocate and has worked in a leading maritime law firm before joining Transworld of Companies as a non-practicing in-house maritime counsel. He has considerable experience in commercial and maritime legal disputes and provides comprehensive in-house legal solution to group companies.

Ms. Namrata Malushte is a Company Secretary by profession with over 15 years post qualification experience. Has considerable experience in corporate secretarial matters. She is associated with Transworld since 2001. Currently responsible for Group Secretarial activities.

An experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the logistics and supply chain industry. He is skilled in Operations Management, Freight, Logistics Management, Ports, and Transportation. A strong business development professional graduated from Lal bahadur Shastri college of advanced maritime studies and research.

Mr. Viren Prabhakar has been with Transworld of companies for more than 25 Years. He is an Economic Honors graduate from Punjab university Chandigarh. Since 2007 he has been heading Business development for TLSS based in New Jersey. He has developed some great partnerships / relationships with both Vendors and customers and continues to grow Transworld footprint in the USA.

Mr. Sachin Rathore is Honours in Physics (B.Sc) and hold Master’s Degree in Business Management with Specialization in Marketing. He has over 22 years on experience in Shipping Industry with different functions. Previously he was the Head of Agency Business for Ignazio Messina Line, Italy for more than 10 Years. He has been instrumental for Messina Line vessel’s Direct Calls to India targeting Containerized, RORO, MAFI and High/ Heavy equipment business and has also played a pivotal role in growing and expansion of Messina Line business in India. Worked as National Head – India Agency for Balaji Shipping Line for over 2 years. He has been associated with Transworld since 2001.

Mr. Sanjiv Kumar is an experienced marine professional who has served the organization for over 19 years with utmost dedication and passion. He has also worked with Lloyd’s Register of shipping and has experience in the Industrial and Ship Survey. He has been Chief Engineer for almost five years with Mitsui OSK Lines and Chowgule steamship Ltd. He is a graduate of DMET Kolkata and has steered his professional journey all the way up to becoming Chief Executive Officer of TWSM. His technical adeptness and business acumen have contributed tremendously to the success of the firm. His professional all-roundedness has also been recognized by various shipping establishments. He has always fostered a professional camaraderie that goes a long way in promoting a healthy and inclusive workplace environment.

With 23 years of logistics industry experience, Ashutosh is a seasoned professional skilled in supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Holding an MBA, he's a Certified FIATA and FMC professional, also a member of CIPS and CIFFA. With certifications from IIM Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School, Ashutosh excels in strategic planning, complex logistics management, and implementing solutions for improved performance. His strong analytical skills enable him to identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the supply chain and implement solutions to streamline processes and improve overall performance. His expertise ensures seamless operations and exceptional results in supply chain management.

Mr. Hrushikesh Yadam has over 15 years of international experience with various global organizations, including Transworld, Unifeeder, CMA CGM & OPCO UK. During his career, he worked in multiple departments such as Commercial, Operations, MIS, Strategy, e-Commerce, and Process/Digital. He is passionate about collaborating with Subject Matter Experts from different turfs & Implement Transformation Initiatives. Leading corporate business development initiatives globally, Hrushikesh plays a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, supporting busienss development across different entities and geographies. Hrushikesh holds a Doctorate Degree in Sustainable Business Model Innovation from SP Jain School of Global Management, Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Cardiff University, Master’s Degree in Computer Network Management from Middlesex University & Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Anna University. In addition, completed a 1-year Executive Management Program at IIT Bombay.

Mr. Siddharth Nambiar, General Manager – Logistics Division, GCC is a Postgraduate from SIES College of Management Studies with core specialization in Marketing & Minors in Finance & has over 20 years of experience in freight, logistics, supply chain management. He is associated with Transworld since 2004 & today heads the logistics division in the GCC region.

Mr. Ian is a seasoned Senior Supply Chain Director with over 18 years of strategic experience in the UAE. Holding a Business and Finance degree from Buckinghamshire University, he excels in delivering comprehensive procurement, warehousing, logistics, and transportation solutions. His expertise spans a wide range of industries, enabling multinational corporations (MNCs) to enhance their organizational performance. With key expertise in Procurement & Warehousing, Logistics & Transportation, Distribution & Reverse Logistics, 3PL Integration, Storage Solutions and Product Range Management.

Mr. Amartya De brings in a wealth of experience in the Finance domain, having previously held senior positions with a proven track record of devising and implementing corporate financial strategies. He is skilled in Project Finance, Compliance, and other key financial functions. Mr. Amartya De is responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate finance functions for the Logistics division. This includes Financial Planning, Financial Analytics/Indices/MIR, Budgeting, Cost/Revenue Management, Risk Management, and Compliance.

Mr.Hari Narayanan leads the multimodal freight operations across the GCC region. With extensive expertise in freight forwarding, cross-border logistics, and end-to-end supply chain management, he is instrumental in strengthening Transworld’s regional presence and driving operational excellence across air, sea, and land freight services. Hari brings over two decades of experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Prior to his current role, he held senior leadership positions with reputed multinational logistics companies, where he successfully turned around underperforming operations, spearheaded business expansion, and built customer-centric solutions tailored to complex supply chain needs. His career highlights include driving profitability through process innovation, forging strong client relationships, and mentoring high-performing teams. At Transworld, Hari focuses on integrating multimodal solutions to create seamless, efficient, and reliable freight services across the GCC. His leadership reflects a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on operational expertise, positioning Transworld as a partner of choice in the regional logistics landscape.

Mr. Jayandra Nayak joined Transworld on March 2018 as Financial Controller for their NVOCC division in Dubai. Latter of 2019, he joined their corporate team as Financial Controller. Prior Transworld, he served DHL Global Forwarding India and Maersk Line India leading various finance verticals across India and South Asia. As an established finance leader, Jayandra has extensive and rich global experience including shareholder value creation, Corporate governance, business partnering, corporate restructuring, cost management, taxation, financial accounting and reporting. Jayandra has a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Joy Poulose, Group Chief Financial Officer, is a Commerce Graduate from Kerala University & CA (Inter) from India having over 27 years of experience in the Corporate Finance & Audits. He is associated with Transworld since 1998 with the primary task of Corporate Treasury and Finance functions. He is also a key functionary in the Ship-Owning division of the Group.

Shipra is a social development specialist with diverse experience of almost 2 decades, working with government, non-profits, industry and industry associations in India and the UAE. She holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Netherlands and master’s in social work, University of Delhi, India. She is also pursuing an ESG Designation Program from Competent Boards, Canada. At Transworld she is responsible for managing Group Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Social Governance strategy and programs implementation.

Qualified and experienced Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager with expertise in social/digital media tools and technologies, along with a record of accomplishment of creating and implementing successful online campaigns and media programs. Keep updated with constantly evolving technologies in online social networking and work with stakeholder to create groundbreaking and efficient campaigns.

Mr. Rajesh Desai is the Chief Financial Officer of the ship owning company listed on BSE and NSE and comes with over 25 years of rich experience across various Finance functions including liasoning with multiple banks for wide range of financial arrangement, Accounting, cost control management, Treasury & Fund Management, Forex management, Internal Financial controls, and Statutory Compliances. Rajesh is associated with Transworld since August 2001. He also has a rich experience of Shipping industry. He has been a proven leader and implemented key solutions in the fields of Finance, Team management, & strategic planning. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant. Before Joining Transworld, he was associated with a leading chartered accountant firm with expertise in internal and management audits of multiple industries

Capt. Ashish is a Master mariner and seasoned C-suite professional with over 8 years of experience in executive leadership roles, and an accomplished Master Mariner with a strong track record in the shipping and logistics industry. He brings deep expertise in operations management, maritime operations, commercial strategy, logistics management, and team leadership. He has served extensively at sea on various types of cargo vessels . A strong management professional, he holds a Higher National Diploma in Maritime Studies from Solent University, Southampton (UK), and an Executive MBA from IIBM, New Delhi.
